Ridgeview Residence
Ridge View Residence is a contemporary custom home designed to elevate everyday living through light, volume, and connection to its surrounding landscape. Positioned above the canyon with views toward the Virgin River, the home was planned to take full advantage of sightlines, natural light, and spatial openness.
Sloped ceilings and expansive glazing define the interior experience, allowing daylight to move deeply through the home while framing views from nearly every primary space. The front entry is marked by a pronounced portal opening, creating a strong architectural moment while flooding the adjacent office with light and reinforcing a sense of arrival.
A balanced composition of low-sloped and flat roof forms was used to add visual interest and proportion, while maintaining a clean, modern profile. Material selections were kept bright and warm, supporting a refined yet approachable atmosphere that feels both elevated and livable.
Exterior
With forever unobstructed canyon views to the east, this home was designed to fully embrace its setting. A large sliding glass door extends the living room onto a grand patio, creating seamless indoor-outdoor flow. By maximizing the depth of the patio and adding access from the living area, dining space, and primary suite, the home is thoughtfully centered around gathering, entertaining, and enjoying the view.
Interior
This home was designed to draw your eye up and create a strong sense of space from the moment you enter. The sloped ceiling adds height while subtly defining the living room within the open floor plan. By placing the fireplace in the corner and incorporating large picture windows, the interior feels intentional, light-filled, and thoughtfully oriented around both comfort and views.
